Sat Inder S. Khalsa
Sat Inder S. Khalsa began practicing Ashtanga Yoga in the year 2000 at home on his own, later that year meeting Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath in Boulder, Colorado for a two week workshop. From 2000-2008 he met Pattabhi and Sharath twice on tour and studied with Nancy Gilgoff, Richard Freeman and a few others at various events.
Then in 2008 he left Ashtanga and took four years off studying other yoga „styles“ only to come back to Ashtanga in early 2012. That year he studied with Kino McGregor, as well as in 2013 along Mark Robberds, Nancy Gilgoff again and a few others at the Ashtanga Confluence, only then finally deciding to make his way to Mysore to practice with Sharath. 14 years later he began his studies with Sharat whom Sat Inder calls his guru today and has since been five times to Mysore. Finally getting authorized to teach the Ashtanga Method by the current lineage holder R. Sharath Jois in December of 2016 he since has not returned to the U.S. but has been teaching in Germany and in India as he now lives in Mysore and travels from there to teach in various places.
