A Radical Yogi Workshop: "Jivamukti Yoga - A pain free practice"
The Yoga Sutra of Maharishi Patanjali is a true gem for yogis two thousand years ago as it is today. This menu for “Yoga” is beautiful in its simplicity while the depth of its wisdom makes yogis ponders their whole practice life in search for the ultimate truth. Sharon Gannon have always taught, yogis by nature are radical and by radical she really means the relentless search for the root cause of how things really are. The first chapter (Samadhi Padah) of the Yoga Sutra lays down the definition of Yoga. By detailing how our minds work in its deceptive nature, we tend to see things the wrong way. Yet, with the “practice” of meditation, we can all correct our misperception of separation, that wisdom is possible for us to realize our original state of oneness, wholeness, which really means “holiness”!!! The second chapter (Sadhana Padah) details why and how we suffer from this misperception of separation, and provides fundamental “actions” that we can actively partake, allowing us to have the right seeds to become successful in our practice of meditation, that Samadhi, union, Yoga can really be achieved!
This workshop will be infused with classic Jivamukti Yoga’s flavor, the yogi will gain practical methods to have a comprehensive yogic lifestyle by practicing awareness in their body, speech & mind. Learn clear-cut yogic wisdom and understand the importance to create a compassion heart for all beings. Will teaches a well-balanced physical asana class with meditation, wisdom and kindness weaving through. All levels of practitioner welcome.
